Clime is the #1 weather app with over 8 million users in the United States. To increase brand awareness and further cement Clime as the go-to weather app, we created a set of 15s and 30s seasonal TV ads to run over the winter season.

As the senior art director for this campaign, along side a copywriter, I developed a concept that would steer away from the severe, fear mongering alerts and natural disasters traditionally in Clime’s creative, and focus on enjoying the festive spirit when not worrying about weather.

We wanted to highlight the utility of the Clime app without defaulting to heavily UI-focused creatives. We needed to find a way to make something more human — but convey it entirely through stock imagery. After developing the concept and moodboard, I began sourcing the clips and storyboarding.
